JBS are proud to introduce the EA738F arc flash / blast blankets and curtains. Engineered with FireMax® technology, the EA738F provides arc flash 40kA fireproof protection in addition to blast and frag protection. UL752 rated to level 3, the EA Series provides protection in power cable, switchgear, generators, fire applications, and other industrial power work areas.

Designed specifically for the power industry using FireMax® technology, EA738F blankets and curtains are rated for Arc Flash Protection to CAT IV with Arc Flash Rating of 40kA, ASTM F2676. EA738F is truly non-flammable as they will not burn, melt, or ignite and will remarkably shed molten metal, certain chemicals, flammable liquids and other molten substances. The custom woven fabric is lightweight, flexible and odor resistant. EA Series blankets and curtains are water resistant and durable in harsh weather conditions. FireMax is tested and certified to ASTM and NFPA standards.

The EA738F is effective against both deformable and non­deformable threats, which are more prevalent and lethal than bullets. EA738F blankets and curtains are UL752 certified to level 3 in bullet resistance with the capability to absorb the impact of a .44-MAG., 240-GRAIN SWCGC bullet. The EA738F Series is frag tested to: 2-GRAIN RCC, .22-CAL 17-GRAIN FSP V12.

Using 9865 Matrix technology™ , the EA Series absorbs the impact of ballistics and fragmentation while significantly reducing back-face trauma; it eliminates the need for layer counting, quilting and lamination.
