The School of Hotel,Restaurant, and InstituteManagement’s Young HoteliersExposition (YHE) fired off its 7th

year with a celebration that waseven bigger than ever.

In cooperation with the ManilaFoods and Beverages Expo(MAFBEX) and WORLDBEXServices International, the 19th

YHE was held at the World TradeCenter from June 20 to 24.

The YHE, an event held everyterm, gives students a chance toshowcase their talents throughdifferent competitions focusing onculinary arts, hospitalitymanagement, and travel andtourism. It also serves as a training

ground that promotes healthycompetition and teamwork amongits participants through variousevents like the Artistic BreadCompetition, Cake DecoratingCompetition and the MarketBasket Competition.

This year, the YHE literally

upped its cool factor with one if itsnewest event: the Ice CarvingCompetition. The YHE alsointroduced a new flairing event,Flair Factor: Quest for the FlairSpartans Season 1, which hadcompetitors in student andprofessional categories.
