Dunstall House“There is so much to fall in love with at Dunstall House. The property has stood since about 1580 and we have loved researching its history and background. The house has played a major role in the parish of Earl’s Croome. As well as having an enchanting history, the property is also located within stunning scenery. It is like your own private kingdom!” says Mike.

“It is a home for all seasons, with each season bringing a different part of the house to life. Christmas time sees the house full of life accompanied by the wonderful smell of the wood burner. In the spring/summer months the garden comes to life. We can see wild fowl, with ducks, geese and swallows returning year on year. We also have a resident woodpecker and recently have spotted a kingfisher, which makes the occasional appearance. We are lovers of the countryside and are spoilt for the choice of walks within a short distance of our home. We have access to our own stables and paddocks. There are endless bridleways, commons and country roads on which to ride,” continues Janet.

“We love that our property is adored by everyone who visits, especially our grandchildren. We have a club sized tennis court and a moat/lake with a boat, which the children love. It is the perfect home for an active family. We have lived here for over 30 years and will miss everything this house has given us. We have been fortunate to be able to create an office from which we can work from home. It would be ideally suited for someone who would like to work in a similar way, as the location means that many towns and cities including Birmingham and Bristol are within a short drive. Pershore station is barely a 10 minute drive away, which makes London within easy reach for business meetings etc. We have a large commercial sized office, as well as a top floor study. I wouldn’t want to work anywhere else, as with beautiful views on all three sides, it makes working time a real pleasure. It suits our needs in every sense.”

“We have found that the location really cannot be beaten for both business and leisure purposes. We are close to first class road and rail links, which have been essential to the success of our business. There are several towns located a short drive away, with access to excellent theatres and cinemas, with some great local eateries also found close by. The surrounding area is perfect for those who enjoy the outdoors. Upton-upon-Severn is an unspoilt riverside town with lovely walks along the river and plenty of pubs along the way to quench your thirst! The River Avon is only 3 miles to the East. We are also spoilt by the proximity of the Malvern and Bredon Hills, which can be seen from our home. We also have a clear view of Dunstall Castle,” says Mike.

“The house has been an ongoing project which we have loved undertaking. After 30 years we feel that it is finally perfect and will make a great home for a new buyer,” conclude Mike and Janet.*
