Frequently Asked QuestionsCan the program be completed online? The Child Development Specialist, TCC is available totally online. The diploma and degree programs require lab hours. Some courses require campus attendance and/or job site experience. Will these courses transfer to a university if I decide to complete a higher degree?Moultrie Tech is part of the Technical Colleges System of Georgia. We currently hold a different accreditation than the universities. We are in the process of

seeking a new accreditation so that their will be seamless transfer of courses. If your long term goal is a higher degree, one of the university system schools may be a better choice. However, our program provides an employable credential in less than 2 years. We can get you out there and get you working.

What is I have a criminal record? Can I still enroll? We do not deny enrollment to any student, however, you will not be able to complete the program (any courses which have lab hours) without submitting a

clear check. What are the crimes that will keep a person from working in a licensed child care center or home if the person either resides at the location or performs any
