BRIEF PROGRAM DESCRIPTION/GOALS:The Early Childhood Education Program prepares students for work in a variety of positions working with young children and their families. There are two different pathways: Infant - Toddler option or Preschool option. Both prepare students through class assignments and field experience (practicum), on campus and in the community, allowing students to meet requirements for various levels of entry into the early childhood field.

WHAT IS UNIQUE ABOUT THE PROGRAM:• Students can earn certificates as they progress through the program leading to an associates degree.• Childcare facilities are available on-campus at HonCC, KapCC, and LeeCC where students gain experience in working with young children.

ITEMIZED ESTIMATE OF EDUCATIONAL COSTS:• Tuition based on total credits taken.• Books/supplies approximately $500.
