(APT Instructor; AL Pathways: LEE, ICFC; DHR: CD, LD, CCPF; CDA: 2, 4, 8; CCDF: 13, 16, 19; Basic Training Level; 2 hours/0.2 CEUs; Age Group: Preschool) February 20, 2019; 6:00pm - 8:00pm; GRECS Training Room, Mobile

Math with Infants and Toddlers - This training will teach participants how to lay a core foundation of basic math skills and knowledge for infants and toddlers through everyday encounters with their children. Topics will include concepts such as shapes and spatial relations, measurement, and numbers. (Alice Grantham; AL Pathways: LEE, CGD; DHR: CD, LD; CDA: 1, 8; CCDF: 13, 20; Basic Training Level; 2 hours / 0.2 CEUs; Age Group: Infants, Toddlers) February 12, 2019; 6:30pm - 8:30pm; GRECS Training Room, Mobile

Magical Sensory Play with Infants and Toddlers - Sensory experiences tell us who we are and where we are. The accumulation of images seen and heard, tasted, touched and smelled build a complex image of surroundings in a small child’s mind. The senses constantly guide, stimulate, and reward the actions of the child. Senses and developmental skills cooperate; neither can function without the other. Workshop participants will learn the many ways that sensory play promotes growth in all the developmental domains -- cognitive, physical, social-emotional -- and how they can use sensory experiences to support early learning for infants and toddlers. (Savannah Partin; AL Pathways: LEE, CGD; DHR: CD, LD; CDA: 2, 8; CCDF: 13, 20; Basic Training Level; 2 hours / 0.2 CEUs; Age Group: Infants, Toddlers) January 15, 2019; 5:45pm - 7:45pm; Daphne Public Library, Daphne AND March 12, 2019; 6:00pm - 8:00pm; GRECS Training Room, Mobile
