FLIESSAVE THE EARTH ,SAVE THE WORLD

EARTHTHEME OF THE POEM

The poet admired the beauty of the Earth with its physical features.

Every feature reveal its speciality. Human race exploit it and plant skull and bones.

But Earth treats them with all that is good to human.People use its resources to make cannons and bombs.

Yet, Earth uses even the wastes that human throw to create lives.

Earth is patient and merciful. There is no two different things called Man and Earth

. Everything related to Earth is related to Man. The Man and The Earth are one.

HOW PERFECT YOUR OBEDIENCE TO THE LIGHT

I HAVE CLIMBED YOUR STONY MOUNTAINSON THE MOUNTAINS I HAVE ADMIRED YOUR SPLENDID PRESENCE

I HAVE WALKED OVER YOUR PLAINSON THE PLAINS I HAVE DISCOVERED YOUR DREAMS,

I HAVE ENTERED INTO YOUR CAVESIN THE CAVES I HAVE TOUCHED YOUR MYSTERIES

AND YOU DRESS OUR WOUNDS WITH OIL AND BALSAM

WE PIERCE YOUR BOSOM WITH SWORDS AND SPEARS

AND FROM THEM YOU REAR CYPRESS AND WILLOW TREES

OUR THRESHING FLOORS WITH WHEAT SHEAVES

WE EMPTY OUR WASTES IN YOUR BOSOM

AND OUR WINE PRESSES WITH GRAPES.

WE EXTRACT YOUR ELEMENTS TO MAKE CANNONS AND BOMBSBUT OUT OF OUR ELEMENTS YOU CREATE LILIES AND ROSES

WHO ARE YOU ,EARTH, AND WHAT ARE YOU?

YOU ARE MY SIGHT AND DISCERNMENT.

YOU ARE THE BEAUTY THAT LIVES IN MY EYESTHE LONGING IN MY HEART, THE EVERLASTING LIFE IN MY SOUL!

YOU ARE MY SORROW AND MY JOY.

HAD IT NOT BEEN FOR MY BEINGYOU WOULD NOT HAVE BEEN!
