  • What are the general sections of Earth? Atmosphere Hydrosphere Geosphere a combination of two: lithosphere and biosphere
  • Slide 5
  • Whats up with the Atmosphere? This layer is the air around you. You will find clouds, rain, and storms in this section. The atmosphere is also made up of different layers. We live in the layer called the troposphere.
  • Slide 6
  • Can you guess what lives in the hydrosphere? The hydrosphere is the watery parts of your planet. The water cycle is included in this sphere. Fish and some mammals live in the oceans and rivers that make up this section of Earth. The water temperature around the planet changes which causes our temperature on land to change.

  • Geosphere cut in half The geosphere is a term for both the lithosphere and the biosphere. The lithosphere is the rock or crust of the earth. The biosphere is the stuff that you find on earth like people, plants, and animals. This layer also contains a cycle you will learn more about called the rock cycle. resource link
