Spots and slides in playlists (time loop)In kompas several or individual slides can be played in a loop, all day long or at a certain time. The content canbe scheduled with the greatest accuracy. Content can be specified both for several monitors and for individualmonitors. A playlist (time loop) covers one day, 24 hours.
Internal visualisation process:See process guidelines LMS self-organised event 1.570, guest events 2.160.

FlashSo that the Flash files can be played correctly, certain requirements have to be fulfilled. It is a matter ofsequential control by the kompas player.
1. The first frame must be static, fixed elements should be in view straight away, so that at the beginning of the animation the impression of a dropped frame when the film starts does not
2. The film must have an aspect ratio of 16:9, ideally a resolution of 1920x1080 or 1360x768 pixels, a lower resolution, for example 1280x720, is advisable as with complex operations slight performance constraints may occur
3. When the film is over, this information must be communicated to the kompas player by calling up JavaScript function.
Action Script (up to Version 2.0)
Action Script (up to Version 3.0)
All interactive elements of the film must be stopped. It is not enough to just signal the 'visual end' of the Flash.
4. The frame rate of the film must merge for a second, e.g. 200 frames for 25 images/second results in 8 seconds. The playing time of the film must be specified in file names: „*_8sec.swf"
A sample file for Flash can be found online at: http://www.medien-messe-stuttgart2.de/bis/rohdaten/lag_logo_20sec.fla

VideoSo that the Video files can be played correctly, certain requirements have to be fulfilled. The film should lastbetween 10 seconds and a maximum of 60 seconds. No audio signal can be played on the guidance system.
The frame rate of the film must merge for a second, e.g. 200 frames for 25 images/second results in 8seconds. The playing time of the film must be specified in file names: „*_8sec.mpg"
MPEG files MPEG files 24 bits, 720x576, 25 fps (MPEG-2), 16:9 / 4:3 Video data rate: Variable (Max. 15000 kbps)
Adobe Flash Video Encoder Video-Codec: On2 Vp6 Frame rate: 25 bps Max. data rate: 1600 KBit/second. Video size: 1280x720 pixels (16:9) Video size: 720x576 pixels (4:3)

BISIn addition to the facilities on the trade fair grounds and the VVS transport information (BIS standard), an exhibitor database and an event logo can also be created (BIS exhibitor search). The exhibitor database can include exhibitor records, product groups, company logos, as well as hall plans.
BIS standard
BIS exhibitor
e-mail: [email protected] Page 20
Creating the exhibitor database
LibreOffice / OpenOfficeThe tables should be formatted and edited under LibreOffice / OpenOffice with the character set "Unicode (UTF-8)", separated by "Tabulator" without text separator and all cells as text.
Microsoft Office ExcelAlternatively, the exhibitor list can also be created as an xls table as follows. The order number (OrderId) is the primary key and therefore can only occur once in the file. For each stand order a separate OrderId must be assigned. If an exhibitor has several stands, then this exhibitor is mentioned several times in the file, each time with different stand information / OrderIds.Not all fields have to be completed. For successful data import, it is sufficient to correctly complete the mandatory fields. Mandatory fields are highlighted in the description of the data formats.
Exhibitor list:
Exhibitor logos:Exhibitor logos are supplied as a .zip file. The image files contained in the zip file must have the order number (OrderId) of the exhibitor or stand order as a name, with the ending .gif, .jpg or .png.The size of the logo should be 133 x 40 (B x H) pixels, as they are displayed in this size. If the images are supplied in a different format, then they are automatically converted to the aforementioned size during the import.

Goods groups Nomenclature:The nomenclature for the goods groups of a trade fair are arranged in a hierarchy. This hierarchy is the result of numbering. Main items and subitems are separated by a dot.
The listing of the hierarchy should be taken into consideration. '01 Raw materials' would be point 01 in the uppermost level. In contrast, '01.00 Raw materials' is point 00 in the second level, which is subordinate to point 01. However, if there is no point 01, the VIS lacks the entry point in order to display the nomenclature.
Assignment Exhibitor / Goods Groups:One or several goods groups can be assigned to every stand order. The assignment is effected using the stand order number and the goods group code number. The assignments are defined with the following structure:
It is necessary to create the "Exhibitor list" file. If the display is to include a product group search, the files "Product groups" and "Assignment of exhibitors and product" also have to be created. The file "Logos.zip" is optional.
The assignment of product groups and logos to exhibitors is effected using the number in column A of the exhibitor list. An exhibitor logo requires this number as a file name. In the file "Assignment of exhibitors and product", the number of the exhibitor from the exhibitor list must be in column A, and the ProdID from the file "Product groups" of the corresponding product group must be in column B.
In both programmes it is important to ensure that all cells are formatted as text(a stand number, e.g. 1A01, would otherwise be an arithmetic
