B1.1 Licence – Self Study Flybe Training Academy offers a self-study EASA Part 66 CAT B1.1 Licence which permits Licensed Engineers to issue certifications of release to service following maintenance, including aircraft structure, power plants and mechanical and electrical systems. To qualify for you Part 66 Cat. B1.1 Licence you must pass all module exams and assignments with a 75% pass rate. You must complete all of the exams and assignments within a 10 year time frame. Part 66 Cat. B1.1 - Module Notes To obtain the licence you will need to study a number of modules. The notes for these modules can be purchased from Flybe Training Academy. For each module you will need to take a multiple choice exam. Modules marked with a * indicates that you will also be required to sit a written essay exam. Module Note Fees: Self-study module notes must be purchased for each module. Costs are detailed overleaf. • Exams must be requested and paid for at the time of application and at least 4 weeks on advance of the date.

• Flybe Training Academy will not refund any fees if cancelled less than 1 week (5 working days) before date of exam.

• Failed modular examimations taken at any training/examination centre cannot be retaken with 90 days of the original

exam date.

• Please note: Whilst Flybe Training Academy can advise, it is however the responsibility of the individual to ensure that they

are sitting the correct examination.
