Dear EGSS School Community,
Firstly, congratulations to our School Captains and House Leaders for 2021. We will have our badge presentation next Tuesday and the students are looking forward to receiving their badges.

Our School Captains and House Leaders will be responsible for helping at school events and running our school assembly. We are all excited to see them take on this new role.
All the staff are busy working on setting up our new reading program for 2021 which will start in term 2. We are excited to see the students learn and progress.

April Freely is a new Disability Liaison Officer (DLO)
appointed to Bairnsdale Regional Health Service.
(BRHS). April is working to identify barriers that people with
disabilities may face in both accessing Covid-19 testing and
accessing their regular disability
support services.
A DLO’s aim is to become a point of contact for people with
disabilities to address barriers and access services and to
strengthen communication between service providers.
