timetable designed to provide important extended learning time and additional learning opportunities to ensure Literacy or Numeracy skill acquisition.
• Students who select a support package will be enrolled in a 1L2 English/Math credit class immediately followed by a 1P2 English/Math credit class thereby creating the large Literacy/Numeracy block in the student’s timetable.
• Students work with the same teacher for the duration of the Literacy/Numeracy block providing instructional consistency. Together they will work to bridge learning gaps and strengthen Numeracy or Literacy skills and/or abilities. For those requiring additional support, a similar option is also available in Gr10, subject to sufficient course requests.
