‘Section of the Holy Week Story…’What does this mean?

Design and create a symbol (representation) of the section of the Holy Week Story

Zoe has begun getting the students in Visual Arts to design and create a symbol that may assist

As a team to put together a section of the Holy Week story.

When we are thinking of the design, we need to be very mindful of the community that we have in our school.

What could the ‘section’ look like?

Think of possible colours, sounds and physical space that you would use. Eg Japanese Garden for the Garden of Gethesemane, Foyer for Palm Sunday (entrance) etc.

What possible colours could you use, eg red blood, black death cloth, white resurrection etc.

We are hoping for visuals aids. No words please. Songs and reflective music is great.

It could be an action – washing the kids hands at the ‘Washing of the feet’ – kneel and say the Our Father in the Garden of Gethsemane etc etc etc
