GCSE Art/Graphics/A Level Art Easter Work …
You also need to decide on what materials you want to you use to create your final piece. Is it going to be a painting, drawing, collage, print... etc?
You will need to tell Miss May/Miss Findlay straight after Easter so equipment and space can be arranged.
Over Easter you MUST make sure you have completed all the work already set and AT LEAST ONE (TWO FOR A LEVEL) MEDIA EXPERIMENTS BOARD(S) … all groups Exams are very soon after Easter!!! Remember the Exam unit is 40% of your GCSE/A Level
Media Experiments ‘AO2”Your next task is to experiment with a range of materials. This is important as it shows that you have explored different ideas for your final piece.
You must experiment with at LEAST 5 different materials (this does include the materials you have used for your observational work)
Don’t forget to annotate your work! Explaining what materials you have used, what you like and don’t like about it, and how it relates to your project
Materials you could use…-Pencil-Biro-Fineliner-Ink-Conte and Charcoal-Paint-Brusho-Coffee-Collage and mixed media-Mono printing-Etching-Photoshop and other photo editing-Sewing-Pyrography-Image transferring-Clay-Wire
You can also experiment by trying out different colour schemes and exploring different drawing techniques such as continuous line drawing

When you create these boards title them….

If you can go to an Art Exhibition.... create a board on the exhibition
Look on The Beaumont Blog for current exhibitions on and the Time Out website.
Stick on leaflets, do sketches, takes photographs for this board. This will show you are working independently on your project and will gain you further marks
