to perfectly suit the position of your stoma by cutting the hole yourself.

Marking the stoma site.
1-Marking the stoma site
For 15 cm deep Easy Cut Comfizz belt.
Suitable for left or right sided stomas.• Position the belt to sit centrally over your stoma. Tighten the belt to the level of comfort you desire. • Once you are happy with the position then mark the place of your stoma (allowing equal space above and
below) then remove belt for next step.
For 22.5 cm deep Easy Cut Comfizz belt.
Note: Due to the depth of this belt, it is contoured to fit waist and hips so can only be worn one way, therefore two versions are available for left or right sited stomas.• Follow same steps as for 15cm deep belt but bear in mind the depth when positioning so’s not to place
too low, causing it to dig in when sitting.

to) Choose an opening size slightly larger than your bag to allow for ease of fitting.• If using the circular template: Remove centre of circular template and position over your belt with your mark
in the centre.• Draw through the template onto the belt the circle size you require.• If using the ruler/compass: Pin the end hole onto your centre mark, place a pen in the hole which corresponds
to the measurement you want then drag the ruler round to scribe your circle.

Cut to the edge of the opening. Follow the guidelines and cut round.

Position your belt with the cut hole over your stoma site.
It is not advisable to wear a support belt without the prolapse cover to complete the protection.
Pull your bag through the whole. Use the separate stretch prolapse cover to Velcro in place and pull over the exposed bag.

4 - Fitting your belt
• Position your belt with the cut hole over your stoma site.• Pull your bag through the hole.• Use the separate stretch prolapse cover to Velcro in place and pull over
the exposed bag. This will improve support around the stoma area and help to manage a prolapsed stoma.
• It is not advisable to wear a support belt without the prolapse cover to complete the protection.

Stoma Protector fixes via the velcro
strips on the insde of the protector
Replace the stretch prolapse cover to help keep the protector in place.
Fold stoma bag edges inwards out of the way to be able to position the protector over the stoma site.
Position and press the protector Velcro onto the belt surface, ensur-ing the open edge is at the bottom. Now fold your bag edges back out

5 – Using an optional stoma protector.
• To protect your stoma from any unwanted forces, this belt works with the simple stoma protector shield.
• Fold stoma bag edges inwards out of the way to be able to position the protector over the stoma site.
• Position and press the protector Velcro onto the belt surface, ensuring the open edge is at the bottom. Now fold your bag edges back out
• Replace the stretch prolapse cover to help keep the protector in place.
