It is possible to pass down the characteristics of a document to its sub structure to ensure full control of the content classified in any hierarchy level.

At the creation of a document in a structure, the new document gets the characteristic values of its parent-document.

It is possible to copy structures and use templates to quickly re-use previous work. This minimizes the user effort greatly.

It is possible to set default document types only used for Easy DMS.

It is possible to get the URL of a document without an expiry date.

It is possible to create a new version inside the search result list to save time for users in the creation mode.

It is possible to display the number of files which are in a folder in the layout of EasyDM to ensure quicker browsing for users in large structures. Dependencies between characteristics finally make it very easy to ensure you select the right dependent definition. For example if you choose pump A you can then only choose red or black and not green. Only existed in core SAP before and was a big gap for manufacturing and service companies.
