She slides down an embankment and jumps into an opening ofthorns and small trees, a hiding spot she knows well.

Blood covers the sheets as a body lies in between them thatisnt entirely her Grandmother.

The figure moves to the side of the bed and stands. Bits offlesh fall from the torso.

Maisie screams as she looks at the face of the figure. HerGrandmothers face oozes off, sliding down the face ofanother: B. Wolcott.

Maisie looks around the room, her eyes now adjusted, seeingthe horror of the cottage: Body parts strewn all over, aclump of bones and muscle sitting by the fire, partiallyeaten ligaments sit beside the bed.

    B. Wolcott smiles, bits of flesh still stuck in his bushybeard.
