EBLI Training OverviewPre-K - 1st Grade Training:

Duration: 3 days Designed for Pre-K through 1st grade classroom teachers An interactive and engaging 3 days of instruction and practice in

teaching research-based reading skills and concepts for beginning readers

Mandatory onsite coaching required. Minimum 1 coaching day for every 5 trainees

2nd - 12th Grade Training: Duration: 3 days Designed for 2nd-12th grade classroom teachers.

o Also, anyone delivering remedial reading instruction, Title 1, Special Education, RTI, Para-pros or anyone teaching K-12.

Trainees spend 3 days learning to infuse EBLI into their content area instruction and to remediate students so they can independently manage grade level reading and writing requirements.

Mandatory onsite coaching required. Minimum 1 coaching day for every 5 trainees.

Important NotesWhiteboards for Students:Each EBLI trainee receives a whiteboard (included with the cost of training). Each student needs to have a 12x18” white board for EBLI Instruction. We recommend getting sheets of shower board from Home Depot or Lowe’s cut into 12 in x 18 in pieces. The cost is approximately $13 per sheet and you get 20 boards per sheet.

EBLI Instructional Binder (with Lesson Plan)

This EBLI Instructional Binder includes a detailed Lesson Plan to introduce EBLI concepts, strategies, and common patterns of the English language to your students. In addition to the EBLI activities and strategies, the Lesson Plan has stories to read with students and additional student practice built right in. Finishing the Lesson Plan is just the beginning of your EBLI journey. Once you have taught all the lessons, your EBLI Instructional Binder has activities, materials, and word lists to assist you in infusing EBLI wherever you are teaching reading, writing, and spelling.

Additional EBLI ResourcesInstructional Materials:EBLI iPad AppsTake advantage of our EBLI Reading Adventures apps; you can find them on the iTunes App store. The apps provide EBLI reading instruction and Peterson handwriting to learners starting as young as 3 years old.  Receive a volume discount of 50% for 20 subscriptions or more. The apps are sequential and up to 6 users at a time can use one subscription. Please read the description on the app store for more information. To access the apps, type 'EBLI Reading Adventures' in the search bar from your iPad (second generation or later). The app is not available on phones or tablets other than iPads.
