These standard single displays provide

highly professional LCD technology on the

Whether on information counters – for

All standard individual displays offer Full HD

resolution (1,920x1,080 px) and are available

signal sources. Thanks to eyevis’ solid and

proven LCD technology and the optimum

image quality, the displays provide best

bezels provide everything that a monitor

designed for use in LCD-based video-wall

The bezel between the individual monitors is

so narrow that the gap between the screen

contents of neighbouring displays is at most

only 35 mm. This means that all the images

and information are well structured but at the

same time available in a concentrated form

on a wall. As with all eyevis products we rely

The first two designs of the EYE-LCD series

in panoramic format present themselves

impressively wide. Correspondingly

broadly diversified are also the application

possibilities of both displays with screen

diagonals of 38 and 43 inches, respectively,

and a screen ratio of approximately 4:1; the

portrait format is an option.

eyevis’ brand-new transparent LCD displays

are an additional innovation in the eyevis

LCD product portfolio. Their development

is based upon a simple but crucial question:

What if product information and advertising

could be presented directly with and

complementary to the advertized product?

Both of the transparent monitors, EYE-LCD-

2200-TP and EYE-LCD-4600-TP, provide just

this possibility. The revolution represented

by this completely new display type is its

transparency. It creates the ideal infotain-

ment medium for the use of the monitor in

show windows, at points of sale, in display

cases, at trade fair stands and in many addi-

tional areas in which the goal is to stimulate

the attention of the observers, awaken

their interest, and, quite simply, stop them

in their tracks. With these monitors and

their extremely quick response times, the

information, image presentations, films and

graphics can be united with the real object

in the background in a unique manner.

Additional applications are museum and

gallery rooms, sales and information areas

as well as trade fairs and events. The inte-

gration into touch-tables or as integrated

components of interior decoration – for

The delivery scope of the device includes

UHP-based systems

DLP® technology based rear projection cubes are a irst choice for professional display systems of today and tomorrow. This leading solution for the assembly of video walls is still the only technology that is absolutely invulnerable against negative image efects caused by static display content, while at the same time providing the possibility to create “seamless” video walls. This, combined with its outstanding colour and brightness behavior, make these the ideal solution for large screen systems in sophisticated applications. With the new LED technology based projection engine, eyevis even wiped away the technology’s only disadvantage caused by the limited lifetime of the lamps used for illumination. eyevis’ new LED cubes use single LEDs for every primary colour with an estimated life-time of more than 60,000 hours (more than six years in continuous operation). The lack of colour wheels and other moving parts not only allows for longer service intervals, but it also results in better environmental behaviour of the cubes compared to lamp based systems.

All other components of the cube are of highest quality “made in Germany” and designed for reliable and continuous operation.

Unlike projection engines using LED clusters for illumination - which create a visible grid in the resulting image - the newly developed lat, light-emitting diodes used in eyevis projection engines enable an unseparated image representation. The specially developed Colour-Rescue-Control technology allows the display of the complete information contained in the image even in the improbable event of a failure of an LED. The innovative heat-pipe cooling system guarantees that the system stays within its recommended operating temperatures even in warmer environmental conditions.

The devices from eyevis’ new EC-LED cube series are available in diferent sizes and resolutions. Besides native HD-resolution (1,920 x 1,080 px), XGA (1,024 x 768 px) and SXGA+ (1,400 x 1,050 px), this new technology is also available in UXGA (1,600 x 1,200 px) and WUXGA resolution (1,920 x 1,200 px) in 16:10 image format.

Reliability and Stability Colour AlignmentIn applications like command and control rooms, which are operated

24 hours on 365 days a year, it is very important to have a perfectly

reliable system, especially if important information is displayed which

should be available at any time. More than 15 years experience with

DLP® based large screen technology, make eyevis a leading manufac-

turer in the fields of professional projection systems. Our comprehen-

sive knowledge of this technique results in many integrated features

to increase the redundancy of the systems – reliable technology

“made in Germany“.

ACT Auto-Colour-Tracking

eyevis’ new LED technology offers long lasting colour stability and

enhanced colour adjustment possibilities. The newly developed

Multi-Cube Colour-Brightness Adjustment option is a tool which

allows fully automatic adjustment and alignment of all cubes in a

combined video wall. As a result, re-adjustments can be performed

more easily and in shorter time.

) Brightness adjustment is performed directly with the LEDs

themselves – Advantage: the dynamic range of the displayed

image is not affected, hence a stable image quality is guaranteed.

) With several cubes in a combined video wall the measurement is

done in every cube separately. The values of the individual cubes

are automatically aligned with reference to the values measured

in the “weakest” cube of the video wall. This allows constant

brightness and colours over the entire wall.

) LED segment adjustment for colour temperature can be set

to predefined values (3,200 K / 6,500 K / 9,500 K), or to freely

adjustable values in user-mode.

Cubes from eyevis’ EC series

eyevis developed the EC series on the basis

of many years of experience with large screen

technology in various fields of use. The robust

rear-projection modules are available with

screen diagonals from 50” to 100”, and with

image resolutions from XGA, up to SXGA+,

HD and WUXGA. The cubes are stackable to

build up display walls of almost unlimited

size. The seamless design of the cubes avoids

annoying gaps between adjacent modules of

a video wall. Of course, our cubes have best

brightness and contrast characteristics which

makes them a first choice for sophisticated

applications in the control room sector

operating in operating in 24/7 mode. All

eyevis cubes include the eyeCube Software

for simple setup, image adjustment and status

reports.

Revolutionary LED-lit projection concept

for the EC cubes series

As an alternative to conventional projection

lamps, eyevis offers its new optical LED pro-

jection engine for the EC Cube Series apply-

ing 1-panel DLP® technology without colour

wheel and without Lamp, using RGB LED

illumination. Main advantage of these sys-

tems is their low running costs. Thanks to the

use of LED light technology, wear parts such

as lamps and colour wheels are no longer

necessary. This also enhances the life-time

of the entire system. The MTBF of the LEDs is

indicated with 60,000 hours, which is about

five times more than with conventional lamps.

Further advantages compared with traditional

lamp systems are the outstanding colour

representation, high contrast, higher colour

fidelity, improved black-values, lower costs for

operation and maintenance (no replacements

of lamps and colour wheels necessary), up to

1.8 times wider colour, and inproved ecologi-

cal behaviour since no mercury is used.
