Installation instructionsThe degree of protection of at least IP54 to EN 60034-5 is only achieved if certified cable entriesare used that are suitable for the application and correctly installed.Unused apertures shall be closed with suitable blanking elements.
The motor shall be provided with a three-phases inverse-delay overload protective device that notonly monitors the motor current but also disconnects the stalled motor within the above mentionedtE -times.
The motor shall only be used for continuous service, involving easy and infrequent starts which donot produce appreciable additional heating.
With built-in winding temperature sensors (DIN 44 082-M ...°C) in combination with a protectivedevice which is provided with the approval mark: PTB 3.53-PTC/A, the requirements of EN 50019,clause 4.7.4 are also fulfilled when the rotor is locked. At rated voltage and based on the cold state(20 °C) the delay time tA as stated below:
