Eclipse is an R&D house specialising in live-broadcast equipment. Overview

Equinox is a 2U rack mounted test pattern generator that can create up to 24 di�erent unique video signals, allowing each outgoing line from a broadcast venue to have its’ own ID.

Each output can be con�gured with a number of test patterns, while there are two text lines that can be used to give a named or numbered ID to each signal.

There is also a moving cursor, sometimes known as a Larson Scanner, this helps prove that the signal is live and not a freeze frame.

Up to 4 pairs (8 channels) of embedded audio can be activated, these have breaking tone on leg 2 of each pair.

All control is done via an Ethernet Browser, while there’s a small screen and navigation keypad to allow the IP address and other network details to be con�gured initially.

Client or Company logos can be installed on request at a small charge.

Equinox can hold up to 12 individual cards, 2 outputs per card.

The unit can take a single reference signal (B&B or Tri-Level), with an adjustable o�set if required.
