Lunar eclipse - happens when the Moon passes through the shadow of the Earth.

•Lunar eclipses can occur only at full moon.
•Everybody on the night side of the Earth can see the lunar eclipse.

Why don’t we see solar and lunar eclipses every month?
The Moon’s orbit around Earth is inclined about 5 degrees to Earth’s plane of orbit around the Sun.
