Frank Owen Gehry
Born February 28, 1929, Frank O. Gehry is a Jewish Canadian-American Pritzker Prize-winning architect based in Los Angeles, California.
His buildings, including his private residence, have become tourist attractions.
In the 70's, Frank gehry devoted part of his creative ability to experiments with common materials, namely his chairs, which showed a new aestetic and conceptual view
F. Gehry's ecological concerns announced a new style of furniture which would characterise the design of the 90s
Architectural style
Much of Gehry's work falls within the style of Deconstructivism. Deconstructivism, also known as DeCon Architecture, is often referred to as post-structuralist.
Gehry is sometimes associated with what is known as the "Los Angeles School," or the "Santa Monica School" of architecture.

His work is consistent with the California ‘funk’ art movement in the 1960s and early 1970s, which featured the use of inexpensive found objects and non-traditional media .

Gehry's firm was responsible for innovation in architectural software.
His firm spun off another firm called Gehry Technologies, which developed Digital Projects.
In 1989, Gehry won the Pritzker Prize for architecture.
