Question:Is eco energy reliable?

By The Earth

Page 2: Eco energy-reliable

Yes• Eco energy is reliable because we use the weather and there’s no limit to that. • It also cuts down the amount of fuel being released into the environment.

• We could also use electricity to power cars which means that the fuel could be put to good use instead of being wasted on powering cars.

• If we proceed through the future and keep on using petrol there could well be no more. I know that we can use fossil fuel but then that fossil fuel could pollout the

sea.

No• If solar panels or wind turbines break the UK power system will grind to a

halt.• In summer the wind in the UK is not very reliable and this is the source

which the wind turbines need to have to operate to their maximum power.• The UK is not a very sunny country therefor there would not be a lot of

energy created.• There is also another downside, during the winter months darkness falls

very quickly. Consequently solar panels may not have enough power from the sun to provide energy for peoples homes.
