Cancun, the real paradise

Last month I went to Cancun where i found of plenty of things to do like skydiving, surf, diving, among many other things. Here I found they were many international tourists like Americans, Japanese and many European people.

If you like to party they are around 50 nightclubs were you can find people just like you but you need to be 18 to enter this clubs. Cancun is the symbol of paradise for many people, the weather is perfect always sunny and with temperatures below 90 ‘F. It also has the prettiest beach in the whole world, the sea color, light blue. I recommend to visit Cancun every once in a while. It is perfect for the family everyone can find something to do even your grandparents and its san is the softest in the world. -Angel Norzagaray

Next stop, Rosarito

Rosarito is the perfect place to spend your summer especially if you’re from a very hot city. Here you can find traditional meals like lobsters, tortillas, beans and rice. In Rosarito you can find nightclubs like Papas and Beer, Cocos, Iggys and many more but you need to be 18 or more to enter to this kind of places.

Personal Experience: Ensenada This year’s “spring break” extended from Cancun to even Disneyland. For me,

and several people from Mexicali, Ensenada was the destination for the spring break weekend.

The very well-respected and great hotel and casino resort was my home from Thursday to Saturday; this very good and comfortable hotel has an Olympic pool, three floors for guest’s aside the lobby, a small-sized “Caliente” casino with a good number of slots and a very popular sports book.

As mentioned before, Ensenada wasn’t only crowded with people from Mexicali, a lot of people from Sonora, Tijuana and USA were also there. This made the ambience and behavior much nicer and vivid; especially in the very famous “Papas square” which is a four-corner party all day and almost every day between these dates. It has a disco club, a sports bar, a “cantina” bar and an official store.

Apart from all the disaster that surrounds these dates, the main street, Lázaro Cárdenas Blvd. is filled with nice stores and markets to take back to your loved ones and to make for yourself a nice fried fish; these are only a part of the experiences you can embark upon by going to Ensenada.

México City Mexico City counts with countless activities

you can try. You can do activities like shopping, go to six flags, try lots of food, and go to museums, exhibitions, cultural monuments, among other stuff. If you go to Mexico City, you can travel nearby to other cities like Federal District, Pachuca, Puebla and Hidalgo.

We have beautiful beaches nearby like Acapulco, and events during the evening like concerts, theater, live music, etc. You can see artists everywhere too! Famous people walking around the mall shopping are normal in this city. Also be carefully with the security, we don’t want any accidents.

Cycling is an activity that’s very popular at the moment; you can try it with the family and is healthy too!

Chiapas The state of Chiapas is one of the richest places of the entire

republic; it counts with a lot of green spaces for recreation activities, it is also an archaeological zone, among other stuff. It’s one of the states with more municipalities, around 122. It also has a lot of rich vegetation, and activities like canopy, swimming in rivers and a lot of beautiful waterfalls.

The weather is perfect for vacations, and for the family it’s a perfect place to spend time. It has a lot of different types of food also; you can try new stuff like typical Mexican food.

You can also visit some pyramids from our pasts and the jungle too! There’s a lot of Indian population you can go meet and their culture too. In Chiapas there are a lot of traditions you can try because the state has a lot of culture and history from the past.

San Miguel de Allende

In San Miguel de Allende you can go and be as relaxed as you please. It is a very old town in Mexico that has a lot of history and places to visit. Like all the churches and historic places nearby, for example: Dolores Hidalgo, Atotonilco, Celaya, etc. You can stay in the hotels, also named “boutique hotels” which can be an old house or “hacienda” turned into a hotel for a small amount of guests.

San Miguel de Allende is named after Ignacio Allende and San Miguel Arcangel which is an archangel venerated by Mexicans. It is almost 400 years old and a very big part of the city is conserved that way since its beginning. The streets are made out of rocks and all the buildings have the same structure and look. They use the same colors for every building, colors like red, orange and a terracotta kind of color, which is like a burned red or brick red. The city is conserved this way due to the protection of the world heritage organization by the UNESCO. Along with Guanajuato, these cities have a lot of tourism and visitors from all over the world. Guadalajara Guadalajara, Mexico is an excellent place to visit one of the most

beautiful and modern cities. It is one of the most interesting cities to visit in Mexico, known for its outside towns which contain a lot of history and exquisite food. You can go there and take a tour on a bus which will go through the city and get to know it.

In this city you will be treated by people who have an extreme passion for soccer. Soccer is almost a religion for Mexicans and one of the places where it is practiced the most is the state of Jalisco, state of Guadalajara. It is something that everybody practices and motivates them all. Guadalajara is home of one of the most famous teams in Mexico and in the world, the Chivas. This team gives hope to many people and it is one of the causes of the city’s popularity.

Places to visit in Mexicali Needless to say, Mexicali is a small town but with several differences

with the rest of the country, mainly because of its closeness to the USA border giving Mexicali a sort of mixed culture ambience.

From Plaza Cachanilla to the “Bosque de la Ciudad” zoo, various touristic destinations are available to enjoy depending on personal taste and experience as always and like in any other place it has its disadvantages like the summer’s high temperatures or long hours of traffic in mid-afternoon.

The plazas and gallerias are somewhat abundant, like said before with Plaza Cachanilla and Plaza Carranza, these are only two of the large and well assorted shopping places throughout the city.

Movie theaters are a very common activity in Mexicali, given that there are seven cinemas placed in very stretch locations around the city and mainly around central touristic destinations; and in each one of the, there are good and new films that are of the public’s interest.

Mexicali is a small city, but given the opportunity, it can turn out to be a very comfortable and cozy place.
