This role is a Business Management / support role to deliver and improve various critical elements of the operations of the department, both in Berlin and globally. The department delivers quantitative risk management solutions for the firm. With immediate effect we are looking for an Economic Assistant (f/m) for the financial industry Responsibilities: Preparation of senior management meetings and presentations Consolidation and presentation of key initiatives / successes Performing data reconciliation exercise to prevent audit issues and regulator reports Coordination and monitoring of various in-house training events Generation and preparation of monthly reports on business performance Staffing and headcount monitoring and tracking Staff working hours reporting Coordination of recruiting efforts Focus on mid / high complexity processes - requiring detailed interpretation / understanding of information provided to formulate required judgement calls for low-risk transactions, adhering to core guidelines set-out within agreed procedures Essential Skills: University degree (Universität, Fachhochschule or Berufsakademie) preferred, however other professional qualifications considered At least 1 years relevant experience within an operational/analytical environment Ability to work with high degree of accuracy and confidentiality Strong sense of ownership for driving tasks forward High degree of self-motivation and self-initiative with the ability to work independently and as part of a team Organizational skills, the ability to think conceptually and analytically Able to cope well under pressure and to tight deadlines Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, German proficiency would be an advantage Excellent MS Office skills (including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Data Management skills) Our client is offering… ... job training and many opportunities for further development … you will be part of a professional, multicultural and dynamic team … you will have the opportunity to shape the development of a new division from the outset … you benefit from flexible structures and motivated colleagues We are looking forward to your application.
