POPULATION Population is summation of all the

organisms of the same group or same species .

There are 2 different definitions in Ecology and Sociology

In Ecology- the population is a number of species in a certain area .

In sociology- population refers to a collection of humans.

INFLATION In economics inflation is an increase in

the general price level of goods and services in an economy over a period of time .

It affects an economy in both ways positive and negative .

The opposite of inflation is deflation.

SCARCITY & OPPORTUNITY COST

POVERTY It is deprivation of basic human needs . It is a concept which includes sociol ,

economic & political elements . It seems to be continuous or temporary. Its is closely related to inequality.

MONOPOLY- Monopoly is single seller and large number of

buyers .- Monopolies are characterized by black of

economic competition.- It refers to the process by which a company

gains the ability to raise the prices or exclude competitors .
