Economy Character Sheet v2 By Marco Skoll Hello, and welcome to the economy character sheet. This little contrivance is designed to allow you to fit the basic stats and details of up to four characters onto one sheet of paper. This should save much messing around on the table - no longer have you got three or four sheets to sort through to find your Tech-Priest's WS, or mark a heavy injury on your Navigator. One sheet, everything on it, less time and less table space used. Using this sheet Most of this is pretty self explanatory. You should know the basic abbreviations, but for the new ones: You have KnockBacK, Base Injury Value, System Shock value, CoNsCiousness value, and rather obviously, SPeeD. On the injury tables, You've got Light, Heavy, Serious, Acute and Crippled injury, with another little tick box in the bottom right corner for if the location is Bleeding. If the character's armour has the Reflec, Ceramite or Ablative qualities, mark this with an appropriate letter. (e.g. 6R + 3A for six points with the reflective quality with 3 points ablative on top) There's also a small tick box in the arm location columns for indicating character handedness. On the firearms table, it's all in the standard order up to Encumbrance (or Weight, if you prefer), even if I've abbreviated something or used a slightly different term. Then you've got number of reloads and any special information like if it's silenced or something. On the melee weapons table - if you can't work it out, there is a man called Mr T who pities you. There's not enough space! This is all about economy. Raw essential details, absolute basics. So: - Abbreviate if you're short on space. So, not "Advanced Bionic arm", but "Adv Bionic Arm" or even "Adv Bnc Arm" if needed. - Don't explain the fine points of an ability or piece of equipment on pg 2 or 3, save that for spare space on pages 4 & 5. Summarise basics (like reminding yourself that a bionic arm is "S60, +2 AV") if it helps. - Likewise, if your character has seven different guns, only put the details for the ones he uses most often into the data table, put the others under "Equipment", and use pages 4 & 5 or his own character sheet to write down those rules. - Use a comma list, not individual lines. - This sheet is mostly intended to be printed with the basic details in it, but if you've got a sharp pencil or fine pen, you should be able to write

Economy Character Sheet v2By Marco Skoll

Hello, and welcome to the economy character sheet.

Using this sheetMost of this is pretty self explanatory.

(e.g. 6R + 3A for six points with the reflective quality with 3 points ablative on top)There's also a small tick box in the arm location columns for indicating character handedness.

So, not "Advanced Bionic arm", but "Adv Bionic Arm" or even "Adv

Bnc Arm" if needed.- Don't explain the fine points of an ability or piece of equipment on pg 2 or 3, save that for spare space

on pages 4 & 5. Summarise basics (like reminding yourself that a bionic arm is "S60, +2 AV") if it helps. - Likewise, if your character has seven different guns, only put the details for the ones he uses most often

into the data table, put the others under "Equipment", and use pages 4 & 5 or his own character sheet to write down those rules.

- Use a comma list, not individual lines.- This sheet is mostly intended to be printed with the basic details in it, but if you've got a sharp pencil or

fine pen, you should be able to write the details on to page 2 or 3 by hand if you wish. Pages 4 & 5 are a little less compatible.

Printing this sheet:There are two ways to print this sheet. The first is easy. After you've filled in the basic details, first check you haven't stretched the tables off their original pages, then print page 2 of this document (letting the printer resize if it thinks the margins are too wide). Then, take said piece of paper, and feed it back in to print page 3 - make sure you put it in so that it's printing on the blank side, or you'll end up with a horrible mess! Then repeat with pages 4 & 5 to give you a summary page of all of the appropriate skills and equipment.

Option 2 is a bit trickier, and requires finding the pages per sheet option available in Word and most equivalents. If you set this to "2 pages per sheet", then the printer will print out two A5 equivalent pages on one side of A4. Print pages 2 & 3 on one side of the paper, then flip the paper and print pages 4 & 5 on the other. This can then be folded in half to give you a little A5 booklet with the character profiles on the outside and a quick reference on the inside. A sharp pencil is required to use a character sheet this size, but if your eyes can handle it, it really does save on table space.
