3. Self assessmment


ECQA CTM – Basic certified trainings are offered as

► ON SITE TRAININGS, SEMINARS, WORKSHOPS open to everyone

► IN-HOUSE TRAININGS for companies

► E-LEARNING/BLENDED LEARNING COURSES

All courses are modular and based on the aforesaid learning units

and elements. The certified training organizations and trainers

ensure that all courses world wide are build according to the same

structure and standards.

5. Exam and certification


► To become an ECQA Certified Terminology Manager - Basic, participants have to take an exam and pass the individual

learning elements with at least 66%.

► The exam is taken electronically, using randomised questions from a central pool of multiple choice exam questions with a total

of 487 questions.

► Participants have 6 hours to complete approx. 190 questions (2 min. per question).

(The average time that examinees normally need to complete the exam is 3,5 hours = 1,25 min. per question)







Some important information for the day of the exam:

- Please make sure that you have entered your correct

data because this information will be used for further

contact with you.

- The surname and the first name provided under

“Contact details” will appear on the certificate. (If you

have any problem with the registration, just contact us)

- Please remember your username and password for the

day of the exam. You will need them to log in for the

exam!!!




Some important information during the exam:

- You can log in and out during the exam, all your

answers are recorded automatically and you can

change them whenever you want until the exam is

officially closed.

- After 15.00 p.m. no changes are possible. Then you

can check the results online (more information about

this in the document attached).




SECOND ATTEMP FOR FAILED ELEMENTS

- In case that you fail any element in the first attempt,

you can try again (without any additional cost).

-You will not have to repeat the complete exam but the

elements that you have failed

- IMPORTANT: You have to repeat the failed ELEMENT,

no matter how good you where in the other elements of

the same UNIT

- an invoice for 150 EURO as registration fee for the

exam that we redirect to the ECQA
