CTE Administrator Job Description

After conducting interviews of Career and Technical Education administrators, we have concluded that there are both positive and negative benefits of becoming an effective administrator. There are several qualities that a CTE administrator must possess. For instance, one must be capable of communicating effectively, have the ability to work well with others, ability to focus and pin point a common goal, be able to negotiate, increase public awareness of CTE programs, and be able to make good decisions. It is clear across the board of the CTE administrator interviewees that public awareness , funding, and communication was at the forefront of the concerns that may hinder the future growth of CTE.
