Welcome, Call to Order & Roll Call (9:30am/5 minutes) 2. LAPD Senior Lead Officers Report: (9:35am/5 minutes) a. Officer. Sasajima, Beard and Saldana 3. Public Comment & Concerns: (9:40am/10 mins) a. for items not on the agenda 4. Elected Official & Public Agency Announcements: (9:50am/10 minutes) a. Patrice Jefferson, CD8; Kimani Black, CD10 5. Presentation: Crenshaw/LAX Transit Project- (10:00am/20 minutes) Ron Macias - Metro Construction Relations, will report on construction updates from Metro. 6. Presentation and Possible Action: Kaiser Medical Office Building (MOB) – (10:20am/10 minutes) Carl Morgan - ECWA Public Land Use and Beautification Committee Chair, will lead a presentation and Board discussion regarding changes in the Kaiser MOB Plans, which would place a six-foot high fence around the perimeter of the Marlton Square property. Updated plans may require revision of the existing ECWA Comment Letter. The public hearing for Kaiser will take place on Friday, July 18, 2014 at 10:00 am LA City Hall Room #1020 Case No. APCS -2013-4102-SPE-DRB-SPP-SPR 7. Discussion on ECWANDC Stakeholder Priorities: (10:30/25 minutes) Romerol Malveaux – Discussion Facilitator, will solicit stakeholder feedback on three topics in order to focus the Board’s efforts within the Communities it serves. Feedback will be reviewed during the Board’s Retreat on July 21, 2014 for possible inclusion in ECWA’s 2014/15 Strategic Plan. a. Top community issues (2) in each of 3 areas b. Top issues (2) facing the Board c. Goals, events, ideas 8. Street Vending Update: (10:55/10 minutes) Carl Morgan, Yvonne Ellett – Brief overview of City Council file 13-1493 and the ECWA Survey on Street Vending - one of the tools being used to gather stakeholder input. -LA City Council file 13-1493 motioned for the co-ordination of several City Departments to prepare a report on non- food street vending. ECWA will make a presentation to inform our stakeholders. Stakeholder input is an integral part of ECWA’s preparation for a Community Impact Statement (CIS) on the City Council file by August 2014. 9. Discussion and action on 24 hour agenda posting location: (11:05am/5 minutes) Denny’s, 7/11 (Coliseum/MLK location), Los Angeles Fire Department Station #94 10. Discussion and action: (11:10am/5 minutes) a. Approve reimbursement of Misty Wilks’ 6/2/14 Town Hall Meeting food expenditure of $146.31 11. Committee and Area Rep Reports: (11:15/15 minutes) 12. Adjournment – Administrative meeting cancelled for Board retreat July 21, 2014 6:30pm
