The following windows appear one after another:

Click Synchronization… on the BTS Transmission Parameters window to bring up the Synchronization – FXC E1/T1 Symm (VXTB11) window.

Ensure Priority 1, Unit and FB/IF read Rx Clock, 1 E1/T1 and 1 respectively. Ensure Priority 2 reads Internal Timing and Network Topology reads Chain on the Synchronization – FXC E1/T1 Symm (VXTB11) window. Click APPLY then OK.

Click Next on the BTS Transmission Parameters window to bring up the Transmission Configurationwindow. Click Traffic Manager.

If a previous Abis allocation file exists, import the file and skip the next 4 steps. Otherwise, click OMUSIGon the Traffic Manager window:

Place cursor over slot 31 and click to bring up the following dialog and select Width 64 kbit/s:

Click TCHS and place cursor over slot 1 to bring up the following dialog:

Select “TRX1’s TCHs” follow by “Width 64 kbit/s”. Place cursor over slot 3 for TRX 2, repeat for TRX 3 and 4, the window should be as follows:

Click TRXSIG on the Traffic Manager window and place cursor over slot 30 to configure “Width 64 kbit/s” for TRX 1, slot 29 for TRX 2, slot 28 for TRX 3 and slot 27 for TRX 4. The end result should be identical to the following window. Click OK to accept the configuration.

Click Next on the Transmission Configuration window once the Traffic Manager is fully configured.
