It’s a time that is set aside to give thanks for the blessings in our lives. I, myself, love my family’s traditional part of the Thanksgiving weekend; from the Wednesday night build up, all the way to the food induced coma that inevitably happens. Each of us in Edgehill has different traditions. Families in our community have a wide range of life experiences but that is part of what makes Edgehill so special. It is how everyone supports the community, even without being active in the association. I know that there are many other reasons to celebrate Thanksgiving, but in this edition of the newsletter, I would like to give thanks to the community of Edgehill for making this a wonderful place to raise a family. Thank you all for supporting the community. - Steve Fisher

EHA BOARD MEMBERS

EDGEHILL: A GREAT PLACE TO LIVE!

NEW EHA OFFICERS!!We vote in November!

A huge welcome to Steve Fisher for his willingness to take on the positionof President of the Edgehill Homeowner's Association. Having grown up inthe neighborhood, Steve is devoted to our community and proves it every

year by the many hours he spends helping others here, which includes the manyvolunteer hours he spends at the clubhouse and pool, cooking, and doing whatever needs attention. He

will be a fine asset as president of the Association. Thanks for all you do, Steve.Another huge welcome goes to Ashleigh Smith as a new EHA Board member. Shehas been nominated as the Association Treasurer for the coming year, another big job.

Please come to the membership meeting on November 10 to meet these two fine people, and to meet Katie Corbett, the new Swim Team President (See following page.)

A HUGE THANK-YOU goes to Lynn Cooper, who is stepping down as EHA president. Lynn has filled thisposition for 1.5 years, during which time she has tirelessly worked at events by planning, setting up, and cleaningup afterwards. She has also served as the Association's membership chair for 10 years, a position she will keepduring the coming year. The position of president takes someone who is willing to take charge when it's necessary,

and during Lynn's tenure, she accepted the challenge with energy, intelligence, and hard work.

A SECOND HUGE THANK-YOU to Theresa Walker, our out-going treasurer, who hasworked in the position, not once, but twice. She was the EHA treasurer for 3 years, 2012, 2013,2014, and again in for 2 years, 2017 and 2018. During these years as teasurer, Theresa hasstepped up to do other jobs as well. Currently, she is working with Roxanne Lord on renting thebuilding and in maintaining the online calendar.

Please share your appreciation with both of these dedicated and caring individuals when you seethem. They have served the community well. Even better, consider running for the board or for an officeyourself!

DOG DAYS AT THE EDGEHILL POOL:ALWAYS FUN!

Every year in late September or earlyOctober, the Edgehill pool goes to the dogs! It'sone of our favorite activities after the pool closes to people for the year. For twoafternoons, the pool is opened to members' dogs, and it's impossible not to enjoy it.This year was no different. We had around 30 dogs of varyingbreeds in the two-day period.

Just watching their joy as they plunged into the water withcomplete abandon to chase after balls and toys was good for thedisposition. It was inspiring to see the energy they expendedwhen they swamand then climbedout of thewater to shake theirsoggy coats on everyone within range.
