Project Funding
• Confirm a vision for future development of the park.
• Assist the City in future grant applications for park construction.
• Implementation timeline and funding are to be determined.
The City of Ladue has received a planning grant from the Municipal Park Grant Commission (MPGC). This grant will assist with the cost of creating the Master Plan for a future park on the Edie’s Mulch Site.
The MPGC is also a potential funding source for implementation, with a maximum grant amount of $370,000.

Project Goals
The focus of this project is to create a Edie’s Mulch Site Master Plan that addresses the following key priorities for the City of Ladue:
• Improve the park site with low-maintenance passive recreational amenities
• Coordinate with partners that are active on or near the park site
• Connect the park site with Clayton Road business district
• Enable access to views of Deer Creek
• Enhance vegetation through native plantings and removal of invasives
• Maintain Public Works operations at the site
