Three Phases of the Final Exam Schedule

• Pre publication/preparing the schedule
• Publishing the schedule
• Post publication
• What classes should NOT be scheduled for exams?
• Lab sections?
• 0-2 credit hour classes?
• Classes that have a final paper or project instead of an
exam?
Preparing the Exam Schedule

• Select ALL classes and
go into the Final Exams
Settings.
• Select Require Current
Room and click OK.

• Start removing the
classes that will not be
holding exams.
• Schedule all common
exams.

Now you’re ready to publish –
Don’t panic!

• Instructor changes the day and/or time
• Exams that should be scheduled together
• Instructor cancels the exam
You thought you were done! Possible changes that
might come up.

• Choose the class
• Choose the exam date
• Change the date and/or time
• Don’t forget to change the event time
• You may get an error message about the room not being available

• Schedule the first exam with room
• Select the other class
• Change the status from Academic Confirmed to Academic Crosslist
• Search for a room and uncheck the Show Available Rooms Only box

• Choose the class
• Choose the exam date
• Change the status from Academic Confirmed to Academic Cancelled
• Fill out the Cancel Status box
• Select the exam date and delete (optional)
