About UsThe Edmonds School District
covers approximately 36 square miles in south Snohomish County and includes the communities of Brier, Edmonds, Lynnwood, Mountlake Terrace, Woodway and portions of unincorporated Snohomish County. We have 34 schools and programs serving about 20,000 students.

District and School Awards
Sherwood, Seaview, Maple-wood and Lynndale elementa-ry schools, and the Challenge Program received Washington Achievement Awards from the Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction and the State Board of Education.
For the 11th consecutive year, our District has been honored with the Best Communities for Music Education designation from the NAMM Foundation for its outstanding commit-ment to music education.
Beverly and Sherwood ele-mentary schools received the 2017 Active Schools National Let’s Move! Awards for their outstanding efforts in creat-ing active school environ-ments.
Edmonds Elementary School received a School of Distinc-tion Award from the Center for Education Effectiveness. The award is given to the top 5 percent performing schools in the state.

We continue to expand use of Chromebooks
by all students: 1:1 for grades 2-12;
1:2 kindergarten and grade 1.
