TONIGHT'S GAME:Record vs. Pittsburgh Overall: 35-25-4-1; Home: 22-9-1-0 Last season the two teams met once in Pittsburgh where the Pens skated to a 5-1 win thanks to a three-assist night from TylerKennedy and a two-goal performance from Chris Kunitz. The Oilers lone goal came from Ryan Jones. This is the first time ever that the Oilers opened up their season against the Pittsburgh Penguins. Since their inception into the NHL in 1979, the Oilers are 16-11-4 overall in season-openers including a 14-7-3 record at home.
