Edmund Landau
He was a German
He graduate at 16 for High School which is 2 years earlier than normal
A student from University of Berlin and went back to teach at the same school
He doctorate in 1899 for a thesis on number theory
He became a lecture at 1899 and he return to the University of Berlin and quit at 1909
Louis Mordell
He was a British
Went to Manchester College of Technology to teach
He took the third place in the Mathematical Tripos.
After that he began to research about Diophantine equations
Chowla-Mordell theorem, Mordell-Weil theorem and
Erdős - Mordell inequality
Things that important between the of them
Both of them invented some equations to help the world
Chowla-Mordell Equation need to be complete with Number theory
Different things between them
Mordell did participate at the World War II but Landau didn’t
Landau return to his mother-school to act as lecture but Mordell didn’t return to his mother-school.
