COURSE PURPOSE
This subject aims to provide the students with both technical and theoretical
knowledge about Active Directory . It also provides students with the knowledgeand skills that could effectively be used managing Active Directory in the real
world environment. In this course, the students are also taught basic installation,
configuration, troubleshooting and administration problems. The course content
applies to the Windows 2003 Server network operating system.

The objectives of this subject are to:
Guide the student about the history of Active Directory and explain about the
new features of Active Directory Windows Server 2008.
Instruct the student how to configure Domains, Trees, Forest, and Organization
Unit and implement an Active Directory.
Teach the student about the configuring User, Computer and Groups
Strategies.
Teach the student about migrating to Active Directory Domain Services andmanaging Active Directory Objects.
Guide the student about Active Directory 's scheme, replication, monitoring and
maintaining active directory.
