Background
Maja House is an integrated compound located on an
uphill of Bandung, Indonesia. Maja House composed of
three different main buildings; Stevie G Hotel, Sugar and
Cream Restaurant, and Maja House Wedding Hall.
Designed by one of prominent Indonesian architect Andra
Matin, Maja House built as a homage to renown Tangkuban
Perahu mountain — thus, made a Maja House silhouette an
iconic architectural statement.
Concept
Maja House identity concept inspired directly from
Indonesian artefacs from the age of Hinduism heyday
called ‘Lingga-Yoni’. This ancient gem symbolize
the sacred union between men and a women.
‘Lingga-Yoni’ was used as a complementary to Andra
Matin’s Maja House architecture concept, which is to
provide a shelter and sanctuary for the new couple.

(specifically in America and Europe) to describe political
changes in countries of the Middle East. ‘Arab Spring’ —
that is what they called it.
