Background

Maja House is an integrated compound located on an

uphill of Bandung, Indonesia. Maja House composed of

three different main buildings; Stevie G Hotel, Sugar and

Cream Restaurant, and Maja House Wedding Hall.

Designed by one of prominent Indonesian architect Andra

Matin, Maja House built as a homage to renown Tangkuban

Perahu mountain — thus, made a Maja House silhouette an

iconic architectural statement.

Concept

Maja House identity concept inspired directly from

Indonesian artefacs from the age of Hinduism heyday

called ‘Lingga-Yoni’. This ancient gem symbolize

the sacred union between men and a women.

‘Lingga-Yoni’ was used as a complementary to Andra

Matin’s Maja House architecture concept, which is to

provide a shelter and sanctuary for the new couple.

Background

‘One Day in A Museum of Tropical Spring’ is an art project

created by a sculpture artist Wiyoga Muhardanto. In this

project at Canna Gallery, he produced a simulation of

a museum, completed with dioramas, narrations, and

a live performance from actors acting as a museum curator.

Museum of Tropical Spring is also a contradiction. The term

‘spring’ in English which has been used by mass media

(specifically in America and Europe) to describe political

changes in countries of the Middle East. ‘Arab Spring’ —

that is what they called it.

Concept

Museum of Tropical Spring brand identity process was

inspired by a Herbert Bayer’s typography explorations

for Bauhaus Dessau building signage.

Background

Inkubator Asia founded by Telly Gontha, an avid art

enthusiast and Rifky Goro, Bandung-based independent

curator as an altervative artspace dedicated for emerging

young artists to exhibit and promote their works.

Concept

Creative process behind the Inkubator Asia brand identity.

The concept was to conceived, or to provide a figurative

space for new fresh idea, which symbolized with lowline,

underbar or underscore icon
