Eduard Bonifacio designs products of all disciplines, including transportation, packaging, etc. Designing from concept to engineering, Eduard takes care of every detail of the product enjoying every moment his work and finishing the projects with the best solu-tions.

Eduard Bonifacio began life as a design student at EINA School of Art and Design, where he studied product design during a year. After that he started a degree at Elisava where he is currently studying the last year. In this year he has participated in packag-ing conferences in the FAD where he has presented a packaging project that he designed with 3 more designers.

Eduard Bonfacio is presently working for a company of engineering and product design where he is im-proving his skills as an engineer and of course as a designer.

This project was about design a bike safe-ty system. After a large research looking for what people needs we decided to de-sign a post to attach the bike. It had to be simple, faster and no need to have exter-nal locks to attach the bike.

Este proyecto consistió en diseñar un siste-ma de seguridad para bicicletas. Después de una larga investigación para ver que necesita el usuario se decidió diseñar un poste para atar la bicicleta. El poste tenia que ser simple, rápido de usar y que no obligase al uso de otros productos como cadenas u otro tipo de productos de se-guridad.

Bike Post

The post has only one locking point for the frame of the bicycle. To lock the bicycle, the post has an arm that you can regulate easily up and down allowing to adapt the post to the bicycle. This arm makes preasure on the frame locking all the bike.

Locking process

El poste tiene un solo punto de anclaje para el cuadro de la bicicleta. Para bloquearla, el poste dispone de un brazo, el cual se puede adaptar en altura, que apoyandolo contra el cuadro y bloqueando la altura, mediante un candado, este bloquea la bicicleta, no dejandola mover hacia ninguna dirección y man-teniendola bloqueada.

Cuevas project was about design two olive oil bottles, a glass one and a plas-tic one. The product was a special olive oil made from millenar olive-trees, so we wanted the best quality in the final prod-uct. To had the best quality we paid attention in every detail in the bottle and in the cap.

El proyecto de Cuevas consistió en dise-ñar dos botellas de aceite, una en vidrio y la otra en plástico. El producto a contener era un aceite de oliva virgen proviniente de olivos milenarios, por eso se buscaba un producto final de calidad a la altura del producto a contener. Para conseguirlo se le puso mucha aten-ción en los detalles tanto de los tapones como en los de las botellas.

The 1 l. glass bottle had to be for home and the 250 ml. plastic one for picnic and not reusable.Both bottles have triangular section and pure white colour to make the visual identity of the brand Cuevas.The cap of the bottles had a flow regulation cap to make easy the action of tip the oil on food.

La botella de vidrio de 1l. tenia que ser de sobremesa y la bo-tella de 250ml. para uso en picnics y de un solo uso.Ambas botellas tienen una sección triangular y color blanco para destacar visualmente y crear una identidad visual de la marca.Los tapones de ambas botellas disponen de un regulador de flujo para facilitar la acción de verter el aceite.
