Impact: Try the Bus events are a welcoming environment for people to try transit. Every transit commuter is one less car on the road and one less parking spot needed! We partner with Pierce Transit to support businesses with the ORCA Passport program, which puts a transit pass in every employees hand.

The “Green Transportation Hierarchy” was adopted by Tacoma City Council in 2010, and is included Tacoma’s Transportation Master Plan. The hierarchy

guides our work to make downtown Tacoma safer, connected, and accessible for employees, students, and residents.
