Color Essentials

Colour correct with confidence! In this one day workshop our L’ANZA Healing Color educator will take students through color removal and pre-pigmentation, giving colorists the knowledge to perform color changes in any situation. This course is designed to give professional salons the solutions for turning colour challenges into results that exceed client’s expectations.

Grow coloring repertoire to include the must-have color service everyone is talking about – balayage! Students will join our L’ANZA Healing Color expert, for this inspiring one day professional course. Designed to develop confidence and hone students’ freehand skills, this color course will impart the techniques needed to achieve a healthy, beautiful and totally bespoke balayage color service.

L’ANZA Ultimate Colorist is designed to take color knowledge to another level. Delegates will gain confidence to become experts in the law of color, color principals, science of color and color change. Delegates will fully understand why color can behave differently on one client to another and gain more confidence in colour choice. Ultimately delegates will be empowered to fulfil their color potential and grow their color services.

This course is run over a 3 days and will incorporate all of the fundamental information to become a true Lanza Color Expert.This course will include theory and practical sessions.

Art of Foiling course offers students the perfect start into the world of foiling techniques, application and foil placement.This 1-day course promotes talent in developing foiling techniques provding a strong understanding of different and individual color effects. The skills gained can be used immediately in the salon.

Polish up skills for experienced stylists or back to works stylists. This confidence building course is also designed for young stylists who have just completed initial training and wish to improve their confidence levels. Covering one length, layers, fringes, correct use of tools and equipment, scissor control, consultantion and client rapport. Through practical sessions, demonstrations and guidance from our Artistic Associate.


Code of Cutting – Foundation

This creative styling course will cover shape, graduation, inverting, scissor control and correct use of tools and equipment. We will explore classic and emerging looks, icons, consultations and a positive journey for clients. Practical sessions covering creative bobs, shapes and crops. Demonstrations and guidance from our Artistic Associate.

Lauded by the professional industry, Ammon has received nine North American Hairstyling Awards (NAHA) nominations, and brought home trophies including Master Stylist of the Year and Salon Team of the Year. As Creative Director for L’ANZA, Ammon brings his passion for education and mentoring to captive audiences all over the world.

MATT SWINNEY

Global Creative Director

The fusion of art, science and creativity is the driving force behind Matt Swinney’s ambition and passion forthe haircare industry. A four-time North American Hairstyling Award (NAHA) winner. He recently earned his first award from Behind the Chair’s #BIGSHOT award for his incendiary work in the Avant-Garde category. Matt has been highlighted as a Beauty Genius by Elle, and his work has been featured in American Salon, Modern Salon, Estetica. As Global Creative Director for L’ANZA, Matt collaborates with his fellow Creative Team to conceptualize and develop the L’ANZA Collections for the season. He has led styling teams at New York Fashion Week and regularly travels the globe inspiring stylists with his unique approach to cutting and coloring techniques.

LEAH FREEMAN

Global Healing Color Director

Celebrated as a color authority worldwide, Leah Freeman brings nearly 20 years of industry experience. From in-salon education to editorial and hair fashion design, Leah has traveled the globe as a platform artist and trainer. Appearing Modern Salon, Estetica, American Salon, Salon Today, and Behind the Chair. She took home the Creative Color trophy in BTC’s prestigious #ONESHOT awards. She has been recognized by the professional industry as one of the Top 20 Most Recognized Colorists, and is known for building powerful educational tools to excite and inspire colorists at all levels. Leah has a clear understanding of how to foster creativity, while building a successful salon business. As L’ANZA Global Color Director, she collaborates with the Global Creative Team to forecast on-trend color palettes and application techniques for the coming seasons.

received in full before the course date.

3. We reserve the right to cancel any course due to insufficient numbers or for any other

4. Cancellations will be accepted up to 14 days prior to the course date, and a full refund

given.

5. Cancellations made 13 days or less before the course will not be refunded and any

education points used towards payment will not be reimbursed.

6. No refunds will be given for non-attendance but substitutions can be made at any time.

7. Some courses will require you to bring your tools with you. You will be advised of this when

your place is confirmed.
