The Faculty of Education at Edge Hill is theUK's largest provider of education andtraining for the whole school workforce andwe continually strive to offer an outstandingexperience for all of our students as they learnand prepare for their chosen career workingas part of the country’s children’s workforce.

FastrackPreparation for Teaching (30 weeks + 6 weeks)Preparation for Higher Education (7 weeks)
Fastrack is an intensive 30 week part time and 6 weeks full timePreparation for Initial Teacher Training programme for adults,designed to give you the skills and knowledge to prepare yourself forentry to a specific Initial Teacher Training course at Edge Hill University.Successful completion will enable you to start a full time Initial TeacherTraining degree from the following September.

What to do…
On hearing the fire alarm
• The alarm sounds continually• Follow the green and white Fire Exit signs to leave the building bythe nearest available exit.
The Assembly Area for this building is the piazza area acrossthe bridge
Please note:• All rooms contain a fire action notice• Signs for ‘Fire Exit’ can be recognised by white letters on agreen background
• Visitors are asked to ensure that their parked vehicles do not cause anobstruction should any emergency vehicles need access onto campus.
In case of personal injury/illness
• Go to the Helpdesk to request first aid assistance• Helpdesk staff will arrange for an ambulance to be calledwhere necessary.
• Report any injury to a member of staff on the help desk.
If property is lost/mislaidReport details to staff on the Helpdesk located in the foyer of thisbuilding. Should you have any other problems, please report to staff atthe Helpdesk in the main foyer.
