1972 - Title IX of the Education Amendments becomes a law. Schools cannot discriminate due to gender.

One can see that America went through numerous changes as time progressed. Many educational philosophers made their mark on society, and their practices are still in use today. Education was impacted by society as well. As technology advanced so did education. Thoughts and practices changed education as well.
