Take this opportunity to learn more about Disability, the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) and how it can support you.This Community Education session will be held in Tagalog and will cover:

• General understanding on disability

• Different types of disability

• The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS): what it is, who can access and how to access

• NDIS pre-planning, planning, implementation and review

This session is designed for people with disability from Filipino backgrounds, their families and carers. It is organised by the Settlement Services International (SSI) FutureAbility project and presented by trained members of the community.

Lunch will be provided after the session.

Gamitin ninyo itong pagkakataon para higit na malaman ang tungkol sa Kapansanan (Disability), Pambansang Pamamaraan ng Paseguro sa May-Kapansanan [the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS)] at kung paano ito makakatulong sa inyo.Itong sesyon ng Pagtuturo sa Komunidad(Community Education) ay gaganapin sa wikang Tagalog at tatalakayin ang:

• Pangkalahatang kaalaman tungkol sa kapansanan

• Iba’t-ibang mga uri ng kapansanan

• Ang National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS): ano ba ito, sino ang makakagamit at paano ang paggamit (access)

• Bago-pa ang pagpaplano sa NDIS, pagpaplano, pagpapatupad at pagrerepaso

Itong sesyon na ito ay nakadisensyo para sa mga taong may-kapansanan na Filipino ang kinagisnang mga gawi, kanilang mga pamilya at tagapag-alaga. Ito ay proyektong isinasagawa ng Settlement Services International (SSI) FutureAbility at itatanghal ng mga sinanay na miyembro ng komunidad.
