Person with intellectual disability may:
have difficulty with both expressive and receptive language
have difficulty in learning and concentrating
display behaviour that would appear to be inappropriate
unable to read or write unable to live independently have difficulty in participating in group
settings

MULTIPLE DISABILITIES ;Means a cross-classification of disabilities that involves significant physical, intellectual, sensory, and social inter-personal performance differences. The need of extensive services and supports is evident in all environmental settings.
E.g ; down syndrome and dyslexia.

1. GENERAL EDUCATION
* PUPILS ARE PLACED IN THE SAME CLASS AS THE NORMALS.
• TEACHERS TREAT DISABLED PUPILS EXACTLY THE SAME AS THE NORMAL PUPILS.
• PUPILS ARE TAUGHT WITH THE SAME LESSONS.

2. SUPLEMENTARY AIDS AND SERVICES

4. TRANSITION PLANNING
PLANNING EARLY FOR THE CHILDREN’S TRANSITION INTO THE WORLD OF ADULTHOOD.~ give children choice~ prepare the child with basic skills
E.g. ; IEP programme. ( student's current level of performance to determine the student's educational needs and future learning priorities)

Consider other medical problems.
Multi-Disciplinary team must be built.
