school determines there fate and future.
2- To learn anything and use it to help them
develop into more rational and intellectual
human beings – which serves as both a benefit
to themselves and their community.

Defective of education system in
Kurdistan:
Example
:1- Majority of Kurdish student believes that the last
year of high school determines there fate and
future.
2- During this year, students must endure an
endless daily procedure of memorizing facts and
answers to questions that have come back on
previous national exams.
3- At the end of this year, students take the “Bacalorie,”
an exam that basically tests their ability to memorize
as much as they can in one year.
I think once students take on and adapt to
memorization as a way to get by in school,
this habit carries on when they enter
university as well. It becomes a routine, a
student’s way of life.
