Process Map for EduNxt Promotion Among Students

Sikkim Manipal University started the EduNxt training programs keeping

in mind the need of empowering the learning centre faculty members with

latest technologies and rich resources that will be an aid to them for

enhancing the quality of the face-to-face course delivery in their

respective institutions. In order to utilize the true potential of the portal, it

was realized that the learning centre faculty members should be

conversant to this new platform. As a result, the EduNxt Level-I training

program curriculum was developed and it started with training 130

Learning centre faculty members in the four metro cities in India –

Bangalore, Kolkata, Mumbai and New Delhi in the month of February,

2009. Afterwards, more such EduNxt Level 1 training programs took place

and in future also more such programs will take place in order to train

and certify all Learning faculty members of 650+ learning centres of

Sikkim Manipal University spread all over India. The responsibility of the

certified learning centre faculty members after returning to their

respective learning centres was to train the students on using the portal

and to show them the rich resources of the platform which the students

can use for their examination preparation. Hence, the learning centre

faculty members use to organize orientation sessions at their learning

centres and all students are trained on using the portal. In the Spring

2010 session only, around 250 orientation sessions have taken place in

the 70 learning centres covering around 6000 students as per the data

received yet. More such training sessions are going to happen and the

number will increase more in the coming days.

As mentioned in the earlier issues also, the EduNxt News is the medium

of taking all EduNxt related activities and information to all the important
