2. If a new employee is hired that is a department head, the General Manager and Business Managerwill meet with them to discuss the EEO policies and procedures.

3. Our EEO Poster is posted in a high traffic/visible area of the olfice for all employees to see.4. The company EEO policy is stated on Page 7 of the Saga handbook that all employees receive

Description qjf Initiative :

Tidewater Communications, LLC continued to ensure EEO and prevent discrimination throughthe following means:

1. The Business Manager discusses with each department head EEO regulations when aposition becomes available in their department and reminds them to work within the EEOguidelines when going through the applicatiorVinterview process.

2. If a new employee is hired that is a department head, the General Manager and BusinessManager will meet with them to discuss the EEO policies and procedures.

3. Our EEO Poster is posted in a high trafhc/visible area of the office for all employees tosee.

4. The company EEO policy is stated on Page 7 of the Saga handbook that all employeesreceive upon hire and also receive when the handbook is revised. (Latest revision August1 1, 2009)

5. This year, the new GM viewed the following DVD: EEO Compliance for Supervisorsand Managers by Kantola Productions. All other managers have viewed this DVDbefore.

6. On April 29,2010, a department head meeting was held to discuss EEOC information.Laurie Bodner, Business Manager, distributed and then reviewed with the individualslisted below a document discussing EEO and discrimination practices. The group alsowatched and then discussed the video "Legal & Effective Hiring" by KantolaProductions. In attendance, Laurie Bodner, Diane Hubel, Don Crowder, Mike Beck, andSonja Monell.

7. On May 11,2010, Laurie Bodner attended an FCC EEO Rules Webinar which theVirginia Association of Broadcasters partnered with the Michigan Association ofBroadcasters. The webinar was hosted by Brendan Holland of David Wright Tremaine,LLP.

Tidewater Communications, LLC continued our training and mentoring program for the staff.Both programs will enable an employee to acquire skills that could qualifr them for a high levelposition in another department. Description o.f Initiative:Tidewater Communications, LLC continued to make on-air announcements on a weekly basiswhich alert qualified groups that they may request to be placed on our job recruitment list whichis utilized when a vecancy is available. The commercial copy explains what steps anorganization must take to receive notifications ofjob vacancies at our stations.

Description o.[ Initiative:On September l, 2005, Tidewater Communications, LLC began their "Career Center". Abrochure was created that discusses Our Mission, Services, and Radio Careers. This brochure isavailable at our front desk and is distributed at all job fairs attended by TCI. In addition, thebrochure is made available to the general public at promotional and sales events.

Description o.f Initiative :

Tidewater Communications, LLC makes available tours of our facilities to thecommunity/listeners, education, and youth groups. During these tours, discussions aboutdifferent jobs that are performed by the station personnel take place.
